1. Start your day by having a glass of warm water to which add a few drops of honey and lemon juice. This cleans and purifies your blood and imparts glow to your skin.
  2. Protect yourself from the harshness of the sun. This is the main cause of skin discoloration, pigmentation and wrinkles.
  3. Wash your face several times a day with plain water.
  4. Gently rubĀ alum on your underarms while taking bath to avoid bad odor (as alum has antibacterial properties).
  5. Before applying makeup rub ice on your face. This will reduce sweating on face and hence will be easy to apply makeup.
  6. Whenever you apply a lotion or cream or moisturizer, use gentle, swift , featherlike upward strokes. Do not use downward strokes or pull your facial muscles downwards, else they will start sagging.
  7. Whenever you dry your face, always pat it dry. Do not rub , scrub or pull your skin.
  8. Don’t apply shampoo directly on your scalp. First dilute it in water then apply it on your hair.
  9. For tanning problem, take a few leaves of aloevera plant, mash or puree them. Add the juice of one lemon. Apply the jelly over the affected areas. It cleanses, clears and nourishes the skin.
